Charles: Victim or Villain by Penny Junor

In this review I will be recommending a book on the then Prince Charles and how good this book is.

I've read this book a couple of times and my opinion has stayed exactly the same. Since there are many books on Diana's story this is one of the few books that is about Charles's side of the story during his first marriage to Diana.

This book goes into detail on how he felt during that period including how bad his mental health was and how he needed help from the friends he had left at the time. It also goes into detail on Diana's multiple affairs during her marriage to Charles.

Penny Junor who is a renowned Royal Author has written many books on the royals Including Queen Consort: The Life Of Queen Camilla, Prince William Born To Be King just to name a few.

Penny once said that The Then Prince Charles was one of the saddest people that she'd met and that there was one woman who changed him. That one woman is now his second wife Queen Camilla. She did however confirm that she is not a friend of Charles after writing that book.

But in my opinion whether you believe the contents in the book is up to you but I somehow believe what was written in this book. The book makes you come to a conclusion on whether Charles is a victim or villain.

This book is where part of the research came when talking about Charles and Diana in my blog. It's not the best source to use in my research but i wanted my research to be fair when it comes to writing my blogs. Especially in a controversial topic like Charles and Diana,  She is very defensive of Charles when people bring him up in a bad light especially when people still blame him for Diana's death etc
